State-wide alliance to develop new solutions for housing-insecure women and children in California

The project

As a part of Fondation CHANEL’s alliance-supporting initiative, Women’s Foundation California and seven other nonprofit organizations work to improve the economic security of women and children all over California, particularly those who are experiencing homelessness and housing instability due to domestic violence, through a combined approach of innovating service delivery, building the power of women-led organizations and movements, and advocating for structural change.

Fondation CHANEL is supporting this alliance of organizations to develop and strengthen their solutions, networks, learning mechanisms, and advocacy, as well as working with the Women’s Foundation California to provide technical assistance and capacity building services to the coalition members.

The partner
