During this 3-year program, KUMFA will help single mothers and their children to improve their economic and social status. In both rural and urban contexts, this project will provide scholarships to single mothers; build and reinforce their networks; give them access to life-skills and rights information in order to help them develop their personal skills. Additionally, the project will raise awareness through activities and events to change the narrative around single mothers, increase their visibility, and influence local policies.
With support from Fondation CHANEL, KUMFA will provide support to 300 single mothers by helping them pursue their education, build their leadership skills, and access job opportunities.
KUMFA is a non-profit organization seeking to improve the lives and status of single mothers and their children by guaranteeing their rights and facilitating their empowerment.
