#MuseumWeek, back on social networks! (April 23-29)
#MuseumWeek, the first worldwide cultural event on social networks! (April 23-29)
For its fifth edition, #MuseumWeek will be back on social media from April 23 to 29 with a new cross-cutting theme: “Living together, citizenship and tolerance.” The first day of the global conversation will be dedicated to women in the Arts and Culture. Spread the hashtag: #WomenMW!
MuseumWeek is supported by the Culture For Causes Network (CFCN), which promotes and disseminates our global cultural heritage, gender equality, and contributes to the wide and dematerialized dissemination of culture to the world, especially among young people. The initiative is also supported by UNESCO.
Fondation CHANEL has partnered with MuseumWeek since 2017. Its support aims to promote the awareness of audiences connected to the role and place of women in Art and Culture, but also to encourage more young women to enter this professional field.
In 2017, 4,500 cultural institutions participated in the online event in more than 100 countries! What about this year?
